Australian Brushwood Fencing
Brush Fencing is a type of fencing made out of Australian broom and is an increasingly popular option as it provides a renewable fencing option with full privacy and provides a more natural look compared to metal or timber.
Brush wood Fencing can also be a strong and durable fencing option and if constructed and maintained correctly can last many years depending on environmental factors such as moisture and direct sun exposure.
We strongly recommend including capping on all brush fences as this will prevent bird wildlife from pecking out the wood from the top of the fence and therefore increasing the longevity of the brush.
100% Natural
Our brushwood fencing is crafted from 100% natural Australian flora. We use sustainably sourced brushwood to minimise any impact on the environment.
Sound Absorbing
Brushwood fencing not only dramatically reduces road noise but also serves as a natural barrier against noise from neighboring properties.
Wind Protection
A Brushwood Fence provides excellent wind protection due to its tightly packed form, significantly reducing the impact of wind.
Environmentally Friendly Option
Brushwood is an all-natural, sustainably grown fencing option with a minimal carbon footprint, making it an eco-friendly choice.
Long lasting, low maintenance residential fencing
While Brush can be a more expensive option compared to other fencing solutions, brush does provide a durable, long lasting fence with little to no maintenance involved. Brush provides noise reduction, wind protection with full privacy and is an environmental friendly option. So for an initial higher price tag, there are many positive and lasting benefits to consider with brush.
There are two types of brush fencing; a thatched option which is usually constructed by thatch or brush specialists, and panel brush fences.
Foreshore Fencing provide the panel brush option which can be built into either a timber or metal frame (with timber being the most common option), with a suitable ‘toe’ including plinth, sleepers or decking.
